Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LockIn (the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have consent from a parent/legal guardian) to use the Service.
3. License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, LockIn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except where law allows.
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or technical protections.
- Use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights.
4. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing
- LockIn offers paid plans billed through Apple's in-app purchase system.
- Current plan prices displayed in-app or on the site are: Monthly at $4.99 USD and Yearly at $29.99 USD.
- Both plans include a 7-day free trial, where offered.
- At the end of the trial, your selected plan automatically renews unless canceled before renewal.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID Subscriptions settings.
Apple may apply additional terms regarding refunds, billing, taxation, and payment processing. Where there is a conflict for in-app billing operations, Apple's terms control.
5. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, including features, pricing, and technical requirements. We may release updates required for compatibility, security, and performance.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process information.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, branding, text, graphics, and related content, is owned by LockIn or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the Service will meet every productivity outcome.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LockIn and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, liability is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event, or (b) $50 USD.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LockIn from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and canceling subscriptions through Apple.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction where LockIn operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your local jurisdiction remain unaffected.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
